Yesterday was my birthday. Today, Teddy and I are launching Dolphin. Dolphin is a startup in a box. Dolphin is a web-app builder for aspiring startup founders to ship to their first customers in an hour.

Dolphin builds startups in one pass. Dolphin can setup subscriptions, AI assistants, complicated database updates, integrations, messaging, and more. Hate Twitter? Build your own. Dolphin builds Twitter in one go. Here is the published site from the video on this post without any follow up.

I'm really really proud of Dolphin. Teddy and I have spent thousands of hours building complicated web apps, and we've developed strong opinions on how to architect them. That's why Dolphin is so powerful: rather than give an AI free rein, we constrain it to the Dolphin architecture. We designed the Dolphin architecture so that, when an AI works with it, its outputs are correct, secure, and scalable.

Our Story

Previously, I worked at Bubble. It's the world's most complicated web app: a web app that can build any other web app. Teddy and I did YC in the spring, building in payments, an industry we had no experience in, until we were robbed and open sourced our payments stack. We spent the past few months pivoting, and I'm happy to return to our roots, which is building really really good web apps.
